Polypropylene Glycol (PPG)
Polypropylene Glycol (PPG) is a colorless to pale yellow, viscous liquid that is soluble in water and many organic solvents.
It is widely used as a polyether polyol in the production of polyurethanes and as an intermediate in various chemical formulations.
Due to its lubricating, humectant, and stabilizing properties, PPG finds applications across diverse industries including
pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, textiles, and construction.
- Chemical Formula : H(OCH(CH₃)CH₂)nOH
- Appearance : Colorless to pale yellow viscous liquid
- Solubility : Soluble in water, alcohols, ketones, and esters
- Applications :
